10, 5, 2 - ist keine Hexerei / getting the hang on fingerloop braiding

Ich war bisher immer der Meinung, dass man zum Fingerschlaufenweben magische Kräfte braucht. Angeblich sollen es Volksschulkinder lernen können, für mich war es jedenfalls ein großes, verwirrendes Rätsel bzw. ein einziges Schlaufenwirrwarr. Zum Glück hat sich der Knoten in meinem Gehirn nun gelöst und ich habe die Geheimnisse des Fingerschlaufenwebens ergründet. 10 Finger, 5 Schlaufen und diese Anleitung ergaben zwei flache Bänder. Juhuu! Das Anfängerlevel ist geschafft - war doch keine Hexerei.
I always thought that one needed magical talents to produce fingerloop braids. Supposedly, pupils in elementary school ought to be able to handle the technique, for me it was only a confusing tangle of loops. Fortunately the knot in my brains is now unraveled and I finally got the hang on fingerloop braiding. 10 fingers, 5 loops and this instruction produced two flat braids. Hurray! I managed the beginner's level - and no witchcraft was involved at all.
